My name is Dhara

Dhara joined Sister Project in 2021 during a difficult period in her life, feeling isolated without family in Australia. With support from Ellenbrook Community Collective members, Sister Project provided her with a supportive community. Participating in the weekly craft group, Dhara found a safe space to share her challenges and enjoy adult conversation. Dhara pursued a Diploma in Mental Health and now volunteers at Sister Project every Monday, assisting with forms and connecting to services.
