Carolina: Meet our Business Relationship Coordinator
Originally from Colombia, Carolina now lives in Perth, Western Australia. She speaks Spanish and English and is a Social Science graduate, specialising in Children and Families. Through her work with Sister Project, she has had the opportunity to be involved in community programs, workshops, youth engagement and activities supporting migrant and multicultural communities. She has also been involved in developing different income-generating initiatives for Sister Project, including the Cleaning Enterprise, the online shop, T-shirt projects and other small business ideas. Another important part of her role is connecting Sister Project with organisations and the wider community, building relationships and creating opportunities that can help the organisation grow and strengthen what it can offer to the women it supports.
As a migrant woman herself, Sister Project has been a really important part of Carolina’s own journey in Australia. It has supported her, helped her grow in confidence, develop new skills and believe more in what she could achieve. She understands how much it can mean to have a place where you feel welcomed, supported and valued. That’s why she is so happy to now be part of creating that experience for other women, helping to make their journey a little easier while supporting them to grow and find their own opportunities.
