Sabrina McCarthy

Sabrina is an events and marketing professional with a diverse background spanning retail, sales, events, and marketing, bringing a wealth of practical experience and creative insight to her role as Events and Marketing Coordinator at Shelter WA. Her career began in retail and progressed into roles such as Sales and Marketing Assistant and Property & Marketing Liaison Officer. She later expanded her expertise as a Technical Event Manager for an AV company at Crown Perth, where she strengthened her capabilities in event delivery, stakeholder engagement, and high‑pressure operations.

At Shelter WA, Sabrina combines her passion for events and marketing to plan, promote, and execute impactful initiatives that support the organisation’s mission. Her work includes developing marketing strategies, producing promotional materials, managing digital and social media platforms, and coordinating events that foster community engagement. Entering the non‑profit sector for the first time, she is energised by the opportunity to contribute to meaningful social impact while continuing to grow her marketing and communications expertise.
